We are Dunkard Brethren
Hello! My wife and I are overjoyed to announce that we were baptised in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. In doing so we became full members of the Dunkard Brethren church, and it is our hope that more will join us in Europe. A wonderful peace accompanies us in knowing we have elders we can trust, and brothers and sisters we can rely on for support.
The Dunkard Brethren General Conference will be held from 4-8 June. Not just elders, but entire families come from every Dunkard Brethren church to meet in one place and discuss the doctrine agreed upon together in the Dunkard Brethren Church Polity booklet. In this manner we decide rules, about the head covering, our clothing, technology, the Lord’s supper etc. in order to help each of us to fulfil the Will of God in our daily lives.
No One True Church
A clear distinction is made between the commandments, given by God Himself, and the rules we agree upon together as a church community. There are plenty of churches that claim their own church to be the only real christian church, whose members will be the only ones to reach heaven, and whose church polity is the only correct interpretation of Scripture. The Dunkard Brethren are decidedly not of this pursuasion. We recognize that there will be some from among us, who will be found wanting in the Final Judgement. At the same time, we know that from all the churches in the world people will rise up with Christ, when He comes to lead His chosen up to heaven.

We are followers of Jesus Christ first, of course. Let us not say; he is of Apollus, he of Cephas, (see 1 Cor. 1:12 ) as we are all servants of God, according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the grace that He bought for us all. This website’s goal is to be a hub for christians to find each other, so that you can also find the support and fellowship of brothers and sisters who live according to the Word of God. We welcome all of God’s children.
